Subscription Fee
A subscription fee is a recurring payment that grants you ongoing access and use of our platform's selling features and tools.
Transaction Fees
Transaction fees are charged by our payment processor on the total value of each completed order, and are split between each Vendor in the order.***
Commission Fees
We charge commission fees on each sale you make in exchange for facilitating transactions, and calculating, collecting, and remitting tax when applicable.

What can I sell on Hemp Save The World?
We are a marketplace specifically for hemp-based products and services. Does your product contain hemp? We’d love to have your products in the marketplace!
To learn more about prohibited products and services, please see ‘7. Vendor Offerings’ in our Vendor Policy.
It says my account is not enabled for selling. How do I enable it?
After registering as a Vendor on Hemp Save The World, you are required to verify your business by uploading documents to prove the following:
- Your Identity
- Business Address
- Business Registration
- Certificate of Insurance
Upload these documents via Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Verification.
How do I get paid?
When a customer makes a purchase, the sale is processed by Stripe. After the deduction of Stripe’s processing fees and our commission, the remaining amount of the transaction is automatically transferred to your connected Stripe account.
You may access your Stripe Express account by:
- Go to Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Payment
- Click Manage beside Stripe
- Click Visit Express Dashboard
We recommend bookmarking your Stripe Express account for convenience.
To receive payouts, you’ll need to connect your bank account to your Stripe account.
How do I connect Stripe to my account?
Stripe is an easy-to-use, secure payment processor. Stripe allows you to accept payments from a wide variety of payment methods including credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and more.
After gaining access to your Vendor Dashboard, you will be prompted to connect a Stripe account to receive payments.
- In your Vendor Dashboard, go to Settings > Payment > Add Payment Method and select Stripe.
- You’ll be taken to Stripe’s onboarding process. Complete Stripe’s onboarding process by submitting all the required information.
- Over the next few minutes, Stripe will attempt to automatically verify your business and identity. After a few minutes, check the status of your connection by revisiting Settings > Payment.
- If you don’t see Stripe Express listed under Payment Method, Stripe requires additional information from you. Click Add Payment Method and select Stripe then click on Complete Connection.
- You’ll be taken back to Stripe’s onboarding process. Complete the required actions, usually by uploading additional proof of identity. Stripe will review your information, then connect your account if approved.
- After your Stripe account has been successfully connected, you may access your Stripe Express account by going to Settings > Payment and clicking on Manage beside Stripe then clicking on Visit Express Dashboard. We recommend bookmarking your Stripe Express account for convenience.
How do I set up my Store?
It’s easy to set up your Store on Hemp Save The World. After you’ve successfully registered as a Vendor, you may customize your Store’s appearance and functionality via your Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Store.
How do I add staff members?
You can add Staff members to your Store to help add products, process orders, or even configure store settings.
To add Staff members and configure their permissions, go to your Vendor Dashboard > Staff > ‘Add New Staff’.
What Shipping Method should I use?
Shoppers strongly prefer the ease of comparing single up-front costs at checkout rather than calculating additional shipping charges. For this reason, we encourage Vendors to offer Free Shipping to shoppers for its favourability.
If you need to charge shipping separately, we recommend utilizing the Flat Rate shipping method for simple shipping cost calculation.
However, we recognize Vendors may need granular, complex shipping cost calculation at checkout.
Table Rate shipping is for Vendors who require advanced, condition-based control over the shipping cost they charge their customers.
The Table Rate Shipping Guide is offered for informational purposes only. We do not provide support for Table Rate shipping beyond this guide.
How do I connect my ShipStation account?
ShipStation allows its users to manage orders, print shipping labels, and track shipments from a single dashboard across multiple sales channels.
To connect your ShipStation account to your Store, you’ll need to generate keys through your Vendor Dashboard > Settings > ShipStation > ‘Generate Credentials’.
Next, in a separate window, log into your ShipStation Account > Settings > Selling Channels > Connect a store or marketplace and select ‘WooCommerce’ then enter your Auth key and Store URL (www.hempsavetheworld.com/store/your-store/)
That’s it!
Why is there a discrepancy in my "Earning"?
In Vendor Dashboard > Products, you will see “Earning” beside the price of your listing. This amount doesn’t account for Stripe’s processing fee.
The correct “Earning” and the exact amount Stripe charged to process the order may be found in the specific order’s details.
