Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Hemp Save The World, we offer our customers guaranteed satisfaction. If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return or exchange your merchandise within 14 days of placing your order (some conditions apply). We want to make your shopping experience the best it can be. That’s why we’ve made exchanges free and easy!

General Return/Exchange Guidelines

  • Some items may be non-returnable, non-refundable, or non-exchangeable due to the nature of the product or our suppliers’ return policy
  • All returned/exchanged items must be in brand new condition as you received them in order to be approved.
  • Returns/exchanges may take up to two weeks to process, not including shipping times.
  • You are responsible for return shipping charges except for incorrect, defective, or damaged items during initial shipping.
  • We will cover the shipping charges when exchanging an item (first exchange only; per item).
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Returns

Return Approval & Item Condition

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it and be accompanied with a receipt or proof of purchase. If you wish to return or exchange an item, you can do so through “Orders” in your account or by contacting us at returns@hempsavetheworld.com and providing us with the following details:

  • Your name
  • Original receipt (invoice)
  • Order #
  • Item description
  • If you’d like an exchange or refund for the item, and reason why
  • If it’s an exchange, identify which item you’d like to exchange it with
  • Identify if the item was a gift

All items exchanged/returned must be brand new and in the original condition in which you received them: unworn, unused, unwashed, unaltered, undamaged, brand new with all original tags attached, and have original booklets and be in the original packaging or we will not approve your return. This includes but is not limited to visible signs of use including deodorant/cosmetic stains, perfume, scents, etc. Any hygienic liners must not have been removed or reattached.

To help us minimize our impact on the environment, please use the same shipping box in which the items arrived when returning an item to us.

Time Frame

If at any time within 14 days of purchase you are not completely satisfied, you may return your item for a refund or exchange. Refunds or exchanges are not offered if more than 14 days have past since your purchase.

Once a return is approved, customers have 30 days to send back the item in question. Returns postmarked after 30 days of the approval will be refused and sent back at the customer’s expense.

Non-Returnable Items

Some items may be non-returnable, non-refundable, or non-exchangeable due to the nature of the product or our suppliers’ return policy:

  • Perishable items such as food, nutrition, or supplements
  • Some health and personal care items (contact us for more info)
  • Swimwear
  • Undergarments
  • Gift cards
  • Discounted items
  • Promotional items
  • Final sale items

Discounted and promotional items include items on sale or clearance, “Buy One, Get One Free” items, blind box items, and giveaways.

Incorrect, Defective, or Damaged Items

Be sure to inspect your order once you receive it. We apologize in advance for any incorrect, defective, or damaged items you may have received. We appreciate your patience in this process, as the information you provide us is extremely helpful to making sure our products are packaged and shipped properly in the future. Please note we often re-use boxes to minimize our impact on the environment.

If you received an incorrect item, the item is defective, or the item was damaged during the shipping process, please emailing us right away at returns@hempsavetheworld.com. Please include a description and pictures of the item, and a copy of your order receipt in the email.

We will review the description and photos of the item, and advise you to complete a return form and return it along with the item. Depending on the situation, we will either issue you store credit in the form of a store e-gift card or provide a replacement product.

Return shipping will be reimbursed for incorrect or defective items, or items damaged during the shipping process. When returning the product to us, we strongly recommend you obtain a tracking number with your package, as we are not liable for packages lost in transit.

Restocking Fee

Returned items may be subject to a 5%-15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Excessive Returns

Hemp Save The World reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or cancel orders from customers at any time due to:

  • An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of “wardrobing;”
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items;
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving multiple returns of similar products; or,
  • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.

Similarly, Hemp Save The World reserves the right to limit, refuse, and/or reject returns to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above. Individuals or organizations which exhibit these behaviours may be given a lifetime ban and will not be allowed to shop at Hemp Save The World in the future.

INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

HELPFUL TIPS

  • Once your return is approved, you will receive a notification email with instructions.
  • Return your item(s) using your local Post Office
  • When you send in your return item(s), please send it back in a secure package.
  • Keep your proof of postage and ship your return along with a tracking number as we are not liable for return packages that are lost or stolen in transit.
  • If the return was due to an error of ours (for example, we accidentally sent the wrong merchandise), we will accept responsibility for all shipping costs related to the return. Please use Standard Mail. We will only cover the shipping cost for Standard Mail by issuing you store credit.
  • At this time we are not able to send out a prepaid shipping label for orders outside of the USA.
  • Returns are processed within 3-4 business days of being delivered back to our Warehouse.

Exchanges

We want to make your shopping experience the best it can be. That’s why we’ve made exchanges free and easy! If an item you ordered does not fit, you may exchange it for a different size or a different product. Only one exchange may be processed per each item on an order. Please see Non-Returnable Items.

If you exchange your item for a different product of greater value, the difference in price will either be charged to your original form of payment. If you exchange your item for a different product of lesser value, the difference in price will be issued as a refund to your original form of payment or store wallet. Please see How To Start The Process below.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Gifts

We offer exchanges on gifted items so long as the item was marked as a gift during purchase. However, it cannot be returned if it is a Non-Returnable Item. Please contact us at returns@hempsavetheworld.com to return your item. If you can provide the email address, first and last name, or last name and postal code of the individual who gifted the item to you, we can get your return started.

The gifted item to be returned must be in its original condition, see Return Approval & Item Condition, and accompanied by the original receipt.

Once we receive your return, we will provide you an E-Gift Card for the value of your return. The E-Gift Card may be used toward the purchase of any available item from Hemp Save The World.

Swimwear & Undergarments

We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. However, because of the nature of swimwear and undergarments, and the health and safety regulations related to these items, we do not offer returns or exchanges on these items.

Refunds

We will gladly provide exchanges on items where the size you ordered doesn’t fit. We only offer refunds on items that were incorrect, defective, or damaged upon arrival. We do not offer refunds due to change of mind. Please see How To Start The Process below.

If your refund is approved, it will be processed and issued back to the form of payment used for the original purchase, and you will receive a refund confirmation email. Please see Non-Returnable Items.

You should receive a refund within four weeks of us receiving your returned item. However, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return package (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Canceling An Order

We begin processing orders immediately, so your order needs to be canceled within one hour of being placed so we can try canceling it for you. We will make every effort to honor your cancellation request! However, if your order is being processed we are unable to grant your cancellation request. Please see How To Start The Process below.

If your order has already been processed, you can request a refund anytime within 14 days of your order date and send it back to us (unless it is a Non-Returnable Item).

How To Start The Process

Please see Exchanges and Non-Returnable Items above. If an item you ordered does not fit, you may exchange it for a different size or different product. Only one exchange may be processed per each item on an order.

Have an an account :

  1. Go to “Orders” in your account.
  2. Click the “Exchange” button next to the order containing the item you wish to exchange.
  3. Select the product you would like to exchange.
  4. Either select a different variation of the product, or select a completely different product.
  5. Select the reason subject and enter a reason description.
  6. Click Submit Request.

Do not have an account:

  1. Click on the Refund/Exchange Form link.
  2. Enter your Order ID and email address you used to place the order, then click Submit.
  3. Select the product you would like to exchange.
  4. Click the Exchange Product button below the order details.
  5. Either select a different variation of the product, or select a completely different product.
  6. Select the reason subject and enter a reason description.
  7. Click Submit Request.

We only offer refunds on items that were incorrect, defective, or damaged upon arrival. We do not offer refunds due to change of mind.

Please see Canceling An Order above. If you have an account on our site, you can cancel your order through “Orders” in your account. If you do not have an account on our site, you can cancel your order by emailing us at returns@hempsavetheworld.com

  1. Go to “Orders” in your account.
  2. Click the “Cancel Order” button next to the order you wish to cancel.

Once we receive your request, we will review it and either accept or reject it.

If approved, we will provide you a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) and a printable return shipping label. If you choose not to use a label provided by us, ship your package back to us at the address provided in the email.

  1. Securely package the product within the original box it was received in unless the box is damaged.
  2. Adhere the printed return shipping label so the barcode is highly visible on the return packaging.
  3. Ship the return package to us.

Return Shipping

If you are exchanging an item, we will cover the shipping charges (first exchange only; per item). If the item you received is incorrect, defective, or damaged we will accept responsibility for all shipping costs. Please use Standard Mail (Canada Post or US Postal Service) when returning the product, as we will only reimburse the shipping cost for Standard Mail. Expedited shipping charges are non-refundable.

We offer extended return shipping during the holidays. Items purchased online between Nov 1st and Dec 24th may be returned by Jan 15th, or 45 days after purchase, whichever is later. Please allow 5-7 days for return mail. Proof of purchase is required (invoice).

To help us minimize our impact on the environment, please use the same shipping box in which the items arrived when returning an item to us.

If you are shipping an item over $75, we strongly suggest you use a shipment service which includes tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

The process can take up to 2-3 weeks. If you have not received a refund/replacement item after that time, please contact our Customer Service team at returns@hempsavetheworld.com and include your RMA number.

If it’s been more than 2-3 weeks and you still haven’t received a refund, please try the following:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company. It may a few days before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. Processing a refund often takes a few days before it is posted.

After you’ve tried the above steps, and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at returns@hempsavetheworld.com.
